Overview
Designed a custom web e-Commerce website with social media marketing, logo design, and product photography
Challenge
The client is a successful seller of home decor products on Amazon. He wanted to shift his business to his own product site to increase profit and brand loyalty, however he failed to increase the traffic and sales on his site.
Solution
After reviewing his current website, we decided to redesign his current logo, visual style and website to help reach his goal.

Process
We tested the client’s current website and also compared it with his Amazon store to see what works and what not. We were also able to test the site with a couple of users to gain insights about its general impression and usability issues.
Key Insights:
The main page is poorly constructed with little content to suggest what they’re trying to sell, users are not sure what to click
The navigation is confusing and there is no buttons for purchase and pricing, many people didn’t realize it’s an e-Commerce website at first glance.
The brand and design esthetic seems out of date, users felt suspicious about the quality of their service and products. However this still works on Amazon because Amazon is a trusted platform with review system.
Product shots seem unappealing and users lack a desire to learn more about the products.
Poor user experience on mobile, which is basically just the same as desktop site.

Final Outcome
With the current design, we have successfully attracted 3 times more members to sign up and we managed to increase the revenue by more than 500%. We have received feedback from the client telling us that he’s very satisfied with the result and wants to add new features to the website.
